    Upon completion of Amanda’s internship, she was offered short term, contract employment as a Development Assistant at WDIY. Upon completion of her contract, she became a member and volunteered her services through March of 2010.

    • Assist in grant project efforts to educate children about producing effective PSAs; prepared weekly agendas using curriculum and managed all electronic communications with students

    • Coordinate efforts to update station documents to digital formats to make them accessible electronically: files, flyers for distribution, event announcements, etc.

    • Operate multi-line switchboard while using exceptional judgement to field or transfer calls with patience and professional courtesy

    • Various research assignments as assigned; such as Media Trade Publication, Membership Data Reconciliation among others

    • Data entry, troubleshooting, customer services, light office upkeep, supply research and procurement and other tasks as assigned
